Guest post: Take amazing vacations on the cheap

Published March 12, 2016   Posted in My Guest Posts

Happy weekend everyone! I come to you with a guest post about one of our favorite things to do in life – travel. But not just travel…travel on the cheap!

For example, my wife and I flew up to Glacier National Park last year for $11.20 each by using credit card points and bonus offers. We stayed 100% within our budget to accumulate those points.

In this article, I talk about how to get the most value out of your traveling adventures, including how to maximize your credit cards. Also, the timing of travel is much more important than many realize, and taking your trip during the off-season can save you a ton of cash. Also, did you know that airlines sometimes make mistakes with their fares? If you’re in the right place at the right time, you might be able to snag yourself an insanely low fare due to a mistake from the airline!

    Great guest article!

I didn’t realize how much I was missing out on for relatively little personal effort in return. I have just recently started travel hacking, and it’s paid some big dividends already!

Love the blog, great info, and great guest posts and plugs.

Look forward to following you on your adventure

  2. I will have more time to SAVE money when I’m done EARNING it and into early retirement. Just three weeks to go for me. Thanks for the post and ideas on where to look for deals!
